5841 is participating in the 2018 FIRST Robotics competition FIRST POWER UP!!!!

We are competing in 2 competitions, one is March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Northern VA Battlefield H.S, Haymarket VA

Second Competition is the 15th, 16th, and 17th, and it is in Churchland H.S. Portsmouth, VA or Southern MD Competition Oxon Hill H.S. MD

Fund Raising

We are applying for enhanced computers that will enable us to integrate Computer Aided Design (CAD) constriction into our extra-curricular Robotics program. These machines will also be used through out regular day instruction in classes such as: Foundations of technology, pre-engineering, and Robotics.

Updates: Financial Support.

On October 1st, we will be starting our loose change drive. Every member receives a saver container labeled with our logo and a plea that change is needed. Members will have 2 weeks to collect as many coins as possible. 50% to the team- 50% to their students fundraiser for Hogwarts

New Way to Donate to our Robotics team.

Our financial office has setup a donation site for the TJHS Robotics Team. Any donors that might want to use a credit card should go to: https://FrederickCounty.schoolcashonline.com/Fee/Details/5701/82/False/True

This type of donation assures the donor that 100% of their gift will reach our team- not go to administrative costs like crowd sourcing websites,which takes almost 10% of each and every charge.

A few days after the deposit is posted our finance department will credit the funds to our TJHS student activity account giving full access to the donation.
